Americans spend more than 7 billion dollars each year on gifts. And many gifts are never used by the recipient. Instead,
it sits in storage for years and may end up in a garage sale or it may be re-gifted and sent to someone else. When a person receives a gift, it is expected that the gift is something that the receiver wants, and that it will bring many years of pleasure.
